In the glass, Le Cupole has a bright ruby colour. Ripe and juicy red fruits dominate the nose with spicy notes. In the mouth it has a full, exuberant and velvety body with soft and perfectly integrated tannins. Try it with pork shank. Drink now or cellar it for up to 15 years. It is recommended to decant into a carafe half an hour before serving.

This is the second wine from the Tenuta di Trinoro estate and was first produced in 1995. The blend of the four grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, changes every year with respect to the vintage. The vineyards of Tenuta di Trinoro extend over nearly 25 hectares in the evocative setting of the Val d’Orcia. They were managed with great care by Andrea Franchetti, a producer dedicated to looking for the perfect harmony between vineyard, soil and climate and open to experimentation. The wines produced by Franchetti are intense and handcrafted and always of high quality. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks using native yeasts and ageing in selected barrels.
