The winery is located in Baix Penedès in Catalonia, Spain, in an area over 600m above sea level in the Montmell mountain range, overlooking the Mediterranean. The Can Sumoi project was founded around 2017 by Pepe Raventós and Francesc Escala, with the aim of reviving the abandoned vineyards and making wines that reflect the place and tradition.
