It has a bright yellowish color with slight greenish highlights. The nose is intense and rich, typical of the variety, with aromas of citrus, passion fruit, and a sweet note of melon on a background of vanilla. On the palate, it is particularly full-bodied, oily, with excellent balance—freshness, finesse, and minerality. Lively and long-lasting aftertaste. Enjoy it at 12°C and pair it ideally with white meats or veal in rich creamy sauces, accompanied by vegetables. Also pair it with raw or cooked fish in white sauces, pasta with white meat and rich semi-fat sauces, as well as with smoked fish.

Alpha Estate is located in the Amyndeon region of Florina, in the northwestern corner of Greece. It was founded in 1997 by experienced viticulturist Makis Mavridis and chemist–oenologist Angelos Iatridis, who, after working in many parts of Greece and abroad, chose Amyndeon to create his own wine. The Sauvignon Blanc Fumé matures for about 7 months in fine-grained French oak barrels with periodic stirring of the lees.
