Description
Kha Mé Amphora is made from 100% Garnacha Blanca, grown using biodynamic practices, and vinified with minimal intervention, highlighting the pure character of the grape variety and the terroir. Fermentation and aging take place in clay amphorae, where the wine remains for several months with natural yeasts. This traditional technique imparts a unique texture, complexity, and a subtle minerality that sets it apart from classic white wines. In the glass, it displays aromatic richness with notes of white flowers, ripe stone fruits, honey, and herbal elements. On the palate, it is fresh yet structured, with a fine texture and balanced acidity, while the finish is long and clean with a mineral character. A distinctive wine for lovers of natural wines that pairs perfectly with seafood, fish, white meats, and select cheeses.

Bodegas Bhilar was founded in 1999 by Melanie Hickman and David Sampedro and is a certified organic and biodynamic winery (Demeter). In the vineyards, they employ traditional practices, such as using horses instead of tractors and avoiding irrigation, while winemaking follows a philosophy of minimal intervention. The goal is to produce wines that authentically express the terroir, possess character, and break away from the logic of mass production.
