Petrakopoulos winery is located in southern Kefalonia in the village of Thiramonas. There, Nikos Petrakopoulos continues a centuries-old family tradition. Their vision is the promotion of the wine wealth of Kefalonia. With organic practices and handmade processes they offer a rare collection of fresh and aged wines, in a limited number of bottles. Gold is produced from selected, small-sized, old and pro-phylloxeric vineyards. Zakynthino is a rare Greek variety originating from Zakynthos but cultivated with great results in Kefalonia. Nikos Petrakopoulos and Kiki Siameli create real “gold” from old, non-irrigated organic vineyards.
