A Syrah with a deep red color from the Domaine Kikones. The aromas of black cherries, coffee, cocoa and the sweet presence of the oak are in perfect balance with the aromas of the barrel. On the palate we detect a well-structured and oily red dry wine, with soft tannins. Its aftertaste is pleasant and lasting. You could pair it with game and red meat.

It is the first winery that was founded in the area of Rodopi and operated in 2004. The goal of the Domaine is to revive the viticultural zone of Thrace. The name of the winery is a tribute to the first people who produced wine in Thrace. The philosophy that follows includes the minimal intervention and the use of traditional arts aiming at the most natural wine result. Maintaining and ensuring the health of their organic vineyards is part of their philosophy. From the organic vineyards in Maronia, the Domaine Kikones presents a deep red Syrah, the result of manual sorting, fermentation with whole grape skins and the pigeage method. Remains for 12 months in French oak barrels and is not filtered before bottling.
