A red dry wine with medium purple color. It has aromas of strawberry, cherry, sour cherry, raspberry jam, lavender, violet and herbal notes. In the mouth it has a medium body, velvety texture, crisp acidity and medium but ripe tannins. It has flavors of black fruits and notes of chocolate. Its aftertaste is long and pleasant. Excellent combination of chicken in red sauce, brisket with tomato and herbs, pasta with vegetables and herbs, winged game, grilled meat.

Oenops Wines was founded in 2015 by Nikos Karatzas and is the newest winery in the region of Drama. The main purpose of the winery is to produce authentic, high quality wines with minimal human intervention, both in the vineyard and in the winery. The grapes come from vineyards mainly in Macedonia, from experienced producers with an organic conscience. Thus, Oenops combines its own expertise with the experience and love of each producer for the vineyard. The grapes are carefully sorted and stainless steel and concrete tanks and clay amphorae are used for vinification.
