Description
It has ruby red color with purple hues and aromas of cherry, berry, black pepper and dark chocolate. As we leave it in the glass, aromas of tea, coffee, barrel with hints of vitality and tobacco emerge. The palate is firm with nice acidity and well integrated tannins. The finish is long and peppery. You can pair it with grilled steaks or braised beef.

The history of Vourvοukelis Estate begins in 1999 with Nikos Vourvoukelis. The first vineyard is planted with an area of 20 acres in Avdira, Thrace. Today the vineyard has an area of 100 acres and is cultivated with respect for the environment in the area around the winery. The first bottlings began in 2001 in neighboring wineries under the name “Fysis Ampeloessa”, while the privately owned winery was completed in 2005.
