Paliokalias, Dalamara Winery 750ml

Paliokalias is a dry red wine with ruby red color. It has aromas of ripe tomato, fresh red fruit, sage and plum. As the wine breathes it gives us aromas of vanilla, spice and black pepper. This is followed by notes of wet earth, mushrooms, olive paste and tobacco. On the palate, the flavors follow the nose accompanied by spicy flavors and barrel notes. The aftertaste is long and pleasant, leaving the sensation of tomato. It can be paired with grilled meat, braised or braised beef and dishes with mushrooms and chestnuts.

When you enter Naoussa town you can see the Dalamaras Winery. Kostis Dalamaras continues the family tradition, inspired by his father Giannis, and combines tradition with modern winemaking techniques. Since 1996 they have been practicing organic farming and since 2008 they have been trying to use biodynamic practices. Paliokalias comes from the homonymous vineyard. It is a hill in the central to southern part of the Naoussa PDO zone.
