Description
Expressive on the nose with aromas of currant, cherry, peony flowers, and hints of spice and smoke. Round on the palate with fresh acidity, soft tannins, and a juicy finish. A lively Gamay, full of fruit, character, and balance. Pairs perfectly with chicken, beef, mushroom risotto, savory pies, and cheeses such as Brie or Camembert.

The domaine was officially established in 1722 and is located in the village of Villié-Morgon. Today, it is managed by siblings Claude-Emmanuelle and Louis-Benoît (the family’s 8th generation), who took over from their father Louis-Claude. Since 2005, the vineyards have been farmed organically, and all winemaking and bottling are done exclusively at the estate, with no sales to négociants. The domaine owns approximately 14 hectares of vineyards exclusively within the Morgon Cru, with vines aged 60 to over 70 years.
