The House of Krug was founded in Reims in 1843 by Joseph Krug, who had the dream of producing the same quality of champagne every year regardless of the weather conditions. Six generations of the Krug family have perpetuated this dream, enriching the founder’s vision and the art of “savoir faire”. Each year, since the founding of Maison Krug, a new edition of Krug Grande Cuvée has been created to offer the most generous expression of champagne. Krug Grande Cuvée Édition 170ème is a blend of 195 wines from 12 different years. The newest dates back to 2014 and the oldest dates back to 1998. The champagne stayed almost seven years in the cellars, which is the reason that it has this very special expression and elegance.
