A champagne with a bright golden color and lively bubbles. It has aromas of white flowers, citrus, ripe and dried fruits, embraced by notes of freshly baked biscuit, gingerbread and roasted nuts. On the palate it has balanced acidity, excellent fizziness and a sense of freshness that completes the tasting journey. Enjoy it at the right temperature, between 9 – 12°C, as an aperitif or combine it with shellfish, cockles, light desserts.

The House of Krug was founded in Reims in 1843 by Joseph Krug, who had the dream of producing the same quality of champagne every year regardless of the weather conditions. Each year, since the founding of Maison Krug, a new edition of Krug Grande Cuvée has been created to offer the most generous expression of champagne. Krug Grande Cuvée Édition 170ème is a blend of 195 wines from 12 different years. The newest dates back to 2014 and the oldest dates back to 1998. The champagne stayed almost seven years in the cellars, which is the reason that it has this very special expression and elegance.
