Description
The Touriga Conquistamor from the Papaioannou Estate is an exceptional dry red wine from Nemea, distinguished by its rich character, complexity, and excellent aging potential. It is produced from 100% organically grown Touriga Nacional grapes and aged for 24 months in new oak barrels, acquiring depth, structure, and aromatic intensity. It has the potential for further aging in the bottle for at least 10 years. In the glass, it displays a deep purple color, while the nose is dominated by aromas of red and black fruits, with notes of chocolate and violet. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with a rich body, noticeable yet balanced tannins, and a long finish. It pairs perfectly with rich meat dishes, game, and aged yellow cheeses. Enjoy it at 17–18°C, after decanting for 30–45 minutes before serving.
