Seguin Manuel’s Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes has a bright golden yellow color in the glass. It offers a complex nose with aromas of ripe white fruit, such as peach and pear. Notes of citrus, flowers, and subtle hints of butter and toasted nuts stand out from the oak barrel aging. It is rich and balanced on the palate. It has a creamy texture and lively acidity. The minerality adds intensity and leads to a long, elegant finish. Aging for 10–12 months in barrels adds structure and depth without masking the fruity character. Pair it ideally with grilled or baked fish, seafood such as lobster and shrimp, white meats with creamy sauces, mushroom risotto, and fine soft cheeses.

It is based in Beaune, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, one of France’s most renowned wine-growing regions. It was founded in 1824 in Savigny-lès-Beaune. In 2004, Thibaut Marion, a 10th-generation winemaker from the Chanson Père & Fils family, took over the estate.
