Description
A white dry wine with an intense yellow color, almost golden, with greenish hues. It has aromas of pear, stone fruits (white-fleshed peach), citrus fruits (lime), lemon zest, followed by notes of jasmine and orange blossoms. With the first taste we perceive the crisp acidity and nice concentration of flavors. In the mouth it has ripe fruit, notes of butter, caramel and mineral elements. Its aftertaste is long with a greasy feel. It can be combined with fatty fish on the grill or lamb in the oven.

Bodega Catena Zapata from Argentina, founded in 1902, plays one of the key roles in the “resurrection” of Malbec and the discovery of new terroirs at the foot of the Andes, in Mendoza. The family’s vineyard “Adrianna Vineyard” is located at an altitude of almost 1500 meters. It is considered as the Grand Cru of South America, with Nicolás Catena Zapata being the first winemaker who not only made the decision to cultivate Argentinian Malbec, but also French varieties in such high altitudes, introducing the philosophy of “High Altitude Vineyards”.
