Description
A dry white wine with a soft straw color. It has aromas of white flowers, pear, lemon, quince, apple blossom, orange peel, spice notes (cardamom, nutmeg, coriander) and honey. The palate is smooth, balanced with a creamy texture and crisp acidity. It has flavors of green apple, lime, white flowers, citrus and stone fruit. Notes of minerality complete the whole. The finish is long and gives us a sense of citrus. You can pair it with poultry, fish or creamy pasta dishes.

Domaine Drouhin, founded in 1987, is owned by the famous Burgundy producer Maison Joseph Drouhin. It is Robert Drouhin’s vision of a winery on his Oregon estate that could rival the great vineyards of Burgundy. Located in the Dundee Hills AVA of the Willamette Valley. The winery released its first vintage in 1988 and is known for its top quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Now, the Dundee Hills property has 50 acres planted mostly to Pinot Noir and about 10 percent to Chardonnay. Arthur’s Chardonnay is produced from 100 percent Dijon clones grown on the Drouhin Family Estate in the Dundee Hills, Oregon, and first planted in 1990.
