Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva has a clear ruby color. On the nose we detect red fruit aromas, such as cherry. It has an intense mouthfeel, sweet tannins and a long lasting aftertaste. You can pair it with red meat, pasta with minced meat or gnocchi with red sauce and mushrooms.

The Capannelle winery began its story in 1974, when businessman Rossetti moved into a villa, surrounded by 10.5 hectares of land, in Gaiole, Chianti. A historic sub-zone where the Chianti Classico was born. Later in 1997, Capannelle was purchased by James B. Sherwood, founder of Belmond Hotels. He has the aim of making Capannelle a world-renowned wine company.
