Chardonnay, Duckhorn Vineyards 750ml

A dry white wine with a bright greenish yellow color. It has aromas of tropical fruits, such as pineapple, nectarine, pear and hints of lemongrass. On the palate it has lively acidity, minerality, rich flavors of apple, peach, lemon and vanilla. Excellent pairing with seafood dishes, oily fish and poultry.

Dan and Margaret Duckhorn founded Duckhorn Vineyards in 1976 and through perseverance they have succeeded in establishing their winery as one of the top in North America. In 2012 they produced their first year of Chardonnay. They apply classic fermentation techniques in French oak barrels with lees stirring. The process results in a Chardonnay that represents the complexity and richness of Napa Valley.
