Description
On the glass it has a lemon yellow colour with green highlights and expressive aromas of green herbs, minerals, citrus and stone fruit, green apple, yeast and chamomile. The flavours of the wine are in harmony with the aromas on the nose and give a very tasty result with full body, fatness, nice acidity and a savoury aftertaste. Enjoy it at 10 – 11°C with grilled fish, seafood, salads with fresh cheeses and pasta with white sauces.

Mikra Thira or Thirasia. The small island opposite Santorini is the name of the new winery that now operates there. It is an effort of three renowned people from the wine business who produce wines from local varieties of Thirassia. Vangelis Gerovassiliou, Vassilis Tsaktsarlis and Ioanna Vamvakouri join forces and knowledge, researching and evaluating the soils and conditions of the island. The privately owned vineyards are cultivated in an organic way and their aim is to produce quality wines that express and highlight the unique terroir of Thirassia. “Santorini” from Mikra Thira Winery is released in a very limited number of bottles.
