Sherry Fino Jarana, Lustau 750ml

Fino Jarana from Palomino grapes with pale straw color with greenish reflections, bright and clean. This is a Jerez style Fino: fresh, mineral and pungent on the nose with almonds and bakery notes. Dry and crisp on the palate, yet rich and with a full finish. Aged under a veil of yeast, called “flor”, in Bodega Las Cruces in Jerez de la Frontera. You could pair it with fresh seafood, smoked salmon and fish, with ibérico ham or you could enjoy it as an aperitif. It is suggested to serve it at 7 – 9 ºC.

The origins of Emilio Lustau S.A. date back to 1896, when Mr. José Ruiz-Berdejo, started cultivating the vines of the family’s state, named Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza, in his spare time. In these humble beginnings he made wines which were then sold on to larger Sherry producers. This activity was known as being an almacenista or stockeeper.
