The Volacus winery was established in 2010 in the Gardaris area, near Falatado on Tinos. It takes its name from the imposing granite boulders known as “volakes” that characterize the area, which are responsible for the limited yield per acre and enrich the terroir of the region. Winemaker Michalis Kontizas bases his entire philosophy on a quality approach, with single-varietal and organic wines of limited production.
