Little James Basket is a blend of Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties, fresh and lightly aromatic with pronounced flavors of candied lemon peel, tangerine and peach. Sauvignon Blanc brings acidity to the blend while Viognier provides fleshiness and attractive notes of stone fruit and flowers. Blending the two varieties results in an aromatic and fresh-tasting wine that is fun and affordable. You could pair it with salads or fish.

Château de Saint Cosme has been in the family since 1490. Its members have been vignerons for 14 generations and they have 15ha of old vines (average 60 years old). Their dedication to Saint Cosme is absolute. They want to express in the best possible way the extraordinary potential of the terroirs combined with the old vines. The ancient know-how, the organic viticulture and the understanding of the terroirs are part of their strong ideas. Saint Cosme – located north to the village of Gigondas – is the most ancient estate in the region. In fact, there is evidence of a Gallo-Roman villa on the site that dates back to 1416! The diversity of soils and the cool micro-climates encourage slow and even ripening of grapes.
