In the glass, Mailly Grand Cru Brut Reserve has a golden yellow colour and charming bubbles. It has elegant fruit aromas, mainly citrus and stone fruits and a pure mouthfeel with delightful notes of lightly toasted and buttered bread. Champagne Mailly was founded in 1929 and is one of the oldest cooperatives in the region. That year, 24 local winegrowers with vineyards planted exclusively in the village of Mailly Champagne joined forces to secure a better price for the wines they sold to the Champagne houses. Only 17 of the 320 villages in the Champagne AOC production area are now in the Grand Cru designation. Champagne Mailly is the only Champagne producer to source all its wines from Grand Cru vineyards.
