On the palate, it is clean and fresh with a fine structure, a touch of richness, a salty sea-breeze sensation, citrus and chalky notes, and a mineral finish. The winery is located in the Muscadet region of the Loire Valley and is one of the most iconic biodynamic wineries in the area, with a history dating back to the early days of organic viticulture in 1975. The estate stands firmly against artificial winemaking techniques, aiming to preserve the connection between the wines, the terroir, and the unique characteristics of each vintage. Granite is made from 100% Melon de Bourgogne grapes-a classic Muscadet variety-from 45 – 55 year-old vines, grown on a unique 3-hectare independent cru with granite subsoil.
