The Fedecocagua coffee cooperative in Acatenango of Guatemala operates in the area since 1967 and nowadays has 291 active members. Its members produce coffee at the slopes of the volcano of the area at an altitude of 1250 to 1850 meters.
This Wisecup Coffee Roasters coffee contains the Catuai, Caturra and Typica varieties. A medium acidity coffee, with floral notes and walnut, chocolate and honey as its main taste characteristics, with a pleasant dark chocolate finish.
It is considered a high quality coffee and has achieved a number of rewards in auctions. It has also been certified according to the UTZ and C.A.F.E. Practices (Coffee And Farmer Equity) standards due to its production with fair and sustainable methods.
