As its name implies, Rawditis is a "raw" expression of the Roditis variety and comes from vines of about 50 years from OENOPS (OENOPS WINES). A wine production team, the newest in Drama, created at the end of 2015 by Nikos Karatzas. Their goal is the production of quality wines based on the principle of minimum intervention, wines with a character that has all those elements of each variety in combination with the vineyard in which it is grown. It is the result of fermentation with native yeasts and maturation in oval-shaped amphorae for six months and is bottled unfiltered without the addition of sulfite. As a result, we have this orange wine. It has bright color with intense aromas of apricot, peach, brioche and nuts accompanied by notes of honey and chamomile. On the palate we can see all the aromas concentrated. It has a medium body, a subtle presence of tannins and crunchy acidity that offers freshness. You can combine it with lard, salads and enjoy it on its own.
