A white dry wine with a bright color. It has aromas of citrus, white flowers and mineral notes. On the palate, we detect intense acidity, nice structure, salty and mineral elements, highlighting the terroir of Santorini. To better enhance the wine, you can pair it with flavors of moderate aromatic intensity, dominated by salty, sour or oily. It is recommended to decant it into a wide carafe about half an hour before enjoying it.

Gaia Wines was founded in 1994 by Yiannis Paraskevopoulos and Leon Karatsalos. Having ammonite as a symbol and passion as a guide, they explore two leading Greek grape varieties in their entire range. They established their wineries in the quality wine growing regions of Greece, Santorini and Nemea. Thalassitis is their classic Santorini and the wine with which the company first appeared. For Thalassitis, they choose their grapes exclusively from vineyards of Episkopi, Akrotiri and Pyrgos, with an average age of 80 years. Vinification takes place entirely in stainless steel tanks. The result is a clean, rigorous wine, with the variety and the terroir having the absolute role.
