Tear of the Pine is a white dry wine with a straw yellow color. An Assyrtiko with notes of raisin, minerality and white pepper. On the mouth we have a pleasant acidity and aromas that go hand in hand with those of the nose. The aftertaste is short-lived and pleasant. You could combine it perfectly with fish and seafood.

The facilities of the Kechris winery are located in Thessaloniki and place special emphasis on the Greek native varieties. The retsina that changed the perception about the whole category, placing traditional Greek wine among the finest products of the international vineyard. This is the first retsina with an impressive aging potential. Tear of the Pine consists of Assyrtiko variety from vineyards in Goumenissa. The vinification process starts with pre-fermentation maceration. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in new oak barrels of varying origins and types and is followed by ageing for 6 months on the lees with regular batonnage.
