Nykteri is a white dry wine with aromas of caramelized fruit, roasted nuts, notes of butter, honeysuckle and vanilla. Its mouth is rich with beautiful intensity, balance and a long pleasant aftertaste. An excellent combination of hard cheeses and large fatty fish. You could also pair it with roe or sea urchin.

“Good wines are produced in the winery, but fine wines are made in the vineyard”, this is the motto of Yiannis Tselepos. Thus, they focused on the development of a privately-owned vineyard, which nowadays consists of approximately 65 hectares, setting as their main priority the quality of the raw material through the unremitting dedication and care of the vineyard. They chose the earthen hills on the outskirts of the Mount Parnonas to plant their vineyards and founded Ktima Tselepos in 1989. For Nykteri, grapes harvest at the maximum level of natural ripening. Use of vertical press on whole- clustered grapes. Alcoholic fermentation in large French oak barrels, at a temperature of 15-16° C, followed by the aging of the wine on its fine lees, for 8 months. After bottling, the wine further ages in the bottle for at least 6 months.
