Fairview Chardonnay is a white dry wine with pale yellow color, coming from Coastal Region, South Africa. It has floral and delicate oak aromas. Plentiful flavors of soft spice, citrus and smoky note due to the oak. You could drink it now but if you cellar it for two more years the wine will show great length and evolvement on the flavor and the aromas. You could pair it with pasta with light sauces, salads, white meat and poultry.

The story begins in 1902 when an immigrant from Lithuania, the young Charles Back landed on the shores of Paarl in South Africa. With strong work, ethic and passion for wine, they successfully bottled their own wine for the first time in 1974. The wine was fermented 34% in stainless steel tanks and 64% in French oak barrels. The wine was left on its lees for 10 months before blending and bottling.
