Deep and dense, bursting with notes of white and yellow fruits and acacia flowers. A buttery, lightly toasted side is revealed supported by a mineral acidity due to the terroir which defines the balance of the wine. You could pair this Chenin Blanc with scallops, fresh tagliatelle with mushrooms, freshwater fish with vegetables. It is suggested to serve it chilled between 11°C and 14°C.

Clau de Nell is the first and foremost a story rich in human adventures. It all started with a company called CLAC, which was created by Anne-Claude Leflaive, her husband Christian Jacques and the famous soil microbiologists Claude and Lydia Bourguignon in 2006. The idea was to help French biodynamic winegrowers to export their wines abroad. At Clau de Nell, nature is essential, it is a philosophy of life. Letting nature take its course also means knowing how to grasp what is happening and how it will happen. Chenin was planted in 2012 with the invaluable help of Claude and Lydia Bourguignon.
