Located in Epanomi Thessaloniki, Ktima Gerovassiliou cultivates the privately owned vineyard of 72 hectares with special care and love. Their goal is to produce quality wines. They make excellent use of the soil and climate of the area. Epanomi is an area surrounded by the sea, with a Mediterranean climate and rich soil with marine fossils. The first winemaking took place in 1986 at the modern winery located in the vineyard. The grapes go through excavators, the spiritual press. It is stored in special tanks for pre-fermentation cold extraction and matures into stainless steel. Chardonnay Gerovassiliou for a significant period of time matures and ages in French oak barrels and stays with its wine lees in order to enrich the body and its aromas.
