Avdiros is a result of blending the fruity and aromatic Pamidi variety with red Syrah grapes. In order to intensify the color and produce a spicier taste. The wine has an intense rose color. It has aromas of fresh strawberry, cherry, pomegranate, berries and raspberries. On the palate we have the same aromas combined with a good body, moderate acidity. The wine provides a pleasantly sweet aftertaste due to residual sugar. You could pair it with fruits, salads or you can enjoy it as an aperitif.

The story of Vourvoukeli Estate began in 1999 with Nikos Vourvoukelis. He planted his first vineyard, consisting of 2 hectares which now reached 10 hectares surrounding the winery. The first bottling began in 2001 at nearby wineries in the province of Kavala with the designation ‘’Fysis Ambeloessa’’. This wine was dedicated to the name “Avdiros” after the son of the god Hermes from Opounda in Lokrida. This label features the wild horse of Thrace.
