TD-9 has a deep red color and sweet aromas of blackberry jam, black fruits, followed by soft notes of herbs and chocolate. It has flavors of black fruits, licorice notes and well-integrated tannins. An excellent combination for beef, lamb and game.

“Shafer Vineyards” is a family-owned and operated winery in California’s famous Stags Leap wine region of the Napa Valley. Their first wines were released in 1978 and are a benchmark for the region. They have approximately 57 hectares (140 acres) of vineyards, which are spread across various parts of the wine region. In 1973 John Shafer attempted to drive a TD-9 tractor into the Napa Valley vineyard. He had never before grown or made wine. That spirit of adventure guides him up to now.
