Pétalos, Descendientes de J. Palacios 750ml

Pétalos is a dry red wine with a medium ruby colour and several purple hues. It has aromas of strawberry, blackberry and blueberry, embraced by notes of black pepper, sweet spices, flowers and hints of minerality. On the palate it is juicy, fruity, with acidic strawberry flavours. It has a pleasant aftertaste with the sensation of sweet spices. The acidity of this wine and the well-worked tannins pair well with red meat.

Pétalos is one of Álvaro Palacios’ most famous wines. He created it together with his nephew Ricardo Pérez Palacios. Pétalos is the freshest and most “everyday” wine of Descendientes de J. Palacios. Aged in old barrels for about ten months, this wine will make you love the Mencia variety.
