Montebruna has a deep ruby red color with blue highlights. It has aromas of red and black fruits, spices accompanied by notes of vanilla, oak and tobacco. On the palate it offers rich volume, velvety tannins and crisp acidity, in balance with the fruity flavors. Excellent match with meat, game and pasta with red sauces.

Giacomo Bologna in 1961 inherited from his father the estate, and the nickname “Braida”, in the Monferrato region of Piemonte. He has vineyards in several areas of Monferrato and in two locations southeast of Alba, in the Langhe region. Today the reins are taken over by his children Raffaella and Giuseppe, who make wines with undivided passion and success, with respect for wines, people and land.
