A dry red wine with aromas of black fruit, chocolate with earthy notes and aromatic herbs. In the mouth we have ripe tannins, finesse and good aging potential. It is suggested to decant it into a carafe to open up its aromas and flavors. You could pair it with medium-cooked red meat, meat-based dishes but also mature yellow cheeses or cold meats.

For Mavrotragano, the grapes were selected from two vineyards, Exo Gonia and Kamari, aged about 20 years. Classic red vinification and aging in oak barriques, 1st, 2nd and 3rd use for 24 months.
