A red dry wine from Aglianico grapes with deep ruby color. It has strong aromas that, while the wine remains in the glass, we observe their evolution. We have aromas of ripe cherry, strawberry, dried plum, sour cherry, pepper and cardamom. Then we have the aromas of olive paste, cocoa, fresh soil and hints of leather. The mouth is rich, with robust and well-worked tannins, and fine acidity. In its long aftertaste we have the sensation of plum and pepper. You could pair it with grilled red meat, peppery meat or aged yellow cheeses.

The Kitrvs Estate is located in the Kitros village in Pieria. The ancient Greek variety Hellanico known as Aglianico in South Italy, gives its name to this red wine, Lost Hellanico. A wine resulting from long-term extractions and after 15 months of residence in American oak barrels with regular batonnage. The stelvin cap protects the rich characteristics of the variety, keeping them intact for a long time.
