A red dry wine from the Agiorgitiko grapes with a solid purple color. It has aromas of red forest fruits, caramel, nuts, pepper, chocolate and notes of coffee. Its palate is full, rich in tannins, in balance and harmony with acidity and alcohol. Its aftertaste is long with indications of long aging. You could pair it with grilled or baked meat, game, but also slow-cooked meat.

The Aivali winery was started in 1997 by Christos Aivali. In the privately owned vineyards of 35 acres, the varieties Agiorgitiko, Syrah, Cabernet and Merlot are grown. With the aim of producing high quality products, they choose low yields. The Estate embodies the philosophy of non-intensive agriculture, with almost zero fertilization, so that the root system searches deep into the soil for food and moisture. A small vineyard of 14 hectares in Traganes, in the Nemea region, gives us Le Sang de la Pierre. No filtering, no stabilization, while aging takes place in French oak barrels for 14 to 16 months.
