It has a ruby red color and aromas of very ripe black fruits (berries, cherries, plums), notes of sweet spices and hints of oak. The palate is full and velvety, with a balance between tannins and acidity, while the finish is long and fruity. You can pair it with red meat, poultry with rich sauces or mature cheeses.

Gérard Bertrand is the legend of organic and biodynamic farming in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of Southern France. His work highlights the unique terroir of the region, bordering the Mediterranean. This effort has rewarded him with countless awards in international competitions around the world. All the work in the vineyard and cellars is guided by a calendar based on the moon and the sun. The harvest date is set per grape variety and only when the grapes have reached the desired point of ripeness.
