Cava Driopi, Ktima Driopi – Tselepos 750ml

A red dry wine with ruby red color and addictive ripe aromas of red fruits, black berries, plum and sweet cherry, accompanied by elegant notes of eucalyptus and spices. Fleshy and rich on the palate, with a strong tannic structure, complexity and a persistent finish. You could pair it with red meats, rib eye steak, rooster in wine, and braised beef.

The Tselepos family, in search of a suitable location, chose the hills of Mount Parnonas to plant their vineyards and establish the Tselepos Estate in 1989. In 2003, an 85-acre, 50-year-old vineyard in Koutsi, Nemea, was purchased and named Driopi Estate. The area was chosen for its ability to produce high quality wines from the Agiorgitiko variety. For Cava Driopi, a classic red vinification is carried out with a long maceration of 25 days. Aging lasts 24 months in French oak barrels and 24 months in bottles.
