Its color is dark lemon-yellow. On the nose we have pure tropical fruits and a light smoky note. On the palate the harmony of acidity and sweetness is perfect and it has a layered taste with excellent elegance and a long finish. This wine has high ageing potential. It can be enjoyed with cheesecake, ice cream, or with soft and spicy cheeses.

The Welschriesling variety is ideal for the production of Ice Wines (Eiswein). It has a naturally high acidity. Ice wines are made from grapes that have been frozen in the vineyard, resulting in a juice with a high concentration of sugars and other grape components. In order to achieve optimal quality, the grapes must be harvested frozen, at -10°C. The Allacher Winzerhof winery is located in Burgenland, Austria. Since 1992 they have been fully certified as an organic winery and since 2005 they have been working to reduce the levels of histamine, fructose and sulphites in their wines, as they aim to enable people with intolerances to enjoy wine again.
