Description
Light in relation to Ruby with tones of amber and a combination of aromas of dried fruits (cherry, plum, gooseberry) and oxidizing hints of caramel. You could pair it with cold cuts and desserts with caramel and nuts.

Although it has the same aging as Ruby, Tawny is more aromatically complex. This is because of the way it ages in the barrel, because Tawny’s age in controlled contact with oxygen. Ramos Pinto “the gem of Douro”, is a traditional company that produces high quality wines. Adriano Ramos Pinto founded the company in 1880 and thanks to the excellent quality of the wines, the company soon gained recognition of the international market as a house with an excellent reputation. The winery is located in Douro, Portugal and today belongs to the Roederer family, which continues to follow the same quality policy and the characteristic style established by the Ramos family.
