Mavrodaphne of Patras Reserve is a sweet red wine with a dark brown color and garnet highlights. It has aromas of dried apricot, strawberry and sweet spices (cinnamon and cloves). The palate is exuberant with a spicy taste and velvety tannins. The aftertaste is long with an essence of fruit jam. You can pair it with dark chocolate desserts, tarts, nut pastries, but also with aged cheeses, blue cheese, roquefort and stilton. You can also enjoy it as an aperitif.

Parparoussis winery was founded in 1974 and is located in Bozaitika, Patras. Their aim is to produce quality wines and to promote Greek varieties whose dynamics allow them to join the global wine palette. New French barrels are used for the maturation of their wines. Most of the wines are produced from privately owned vineyards in Movri, Achaia and Bozaitika, Patras.
