It has a bright amber colour with sweet aromas of dried apricot, orange zest, chocolate, honey, vanilla and sage. The palate follows the aromas of the nose with a tremendous concentration of flavour. It has a pronounced acidity that balances perfectly with its sweetness, also the finish is long in length and enjoyable.

The Petrakopoulos winery is located in southern Kefalonia in the village of Theramonas. There Nikos Petrakopoulos continues a centuries-old family tradition. Their vision is to promote the wine wealth of Kefalonia. With organic practices and handmade processes, they offer a rare collection of fresh and aged wines in a limited number of bottles. Lakouditsa is vinified in three different ways, one part as a raisin wine, one part as a dry orange wine and one part matured in French oak.
