Located in Epanomi in Thessaloniki, Ktima Gerovassiliou cultivates its privately owned vineyard of 72 hectares with special care and love. The aim of the estate is the production of quality wines. The soil and the climate of the area are excellently exploited. Epanomi is an area surrounded by sea, with a Mediterranean climate and soil rich in marine fossils. The first winemaking took place in 1986 in the modern winery which is located inside the vineyard. They squeeze the grapes, leave the must and the grape marcs together for a few hours and then the vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. The wine remains in its wine lees for a few months to enrich its body and structure.
