Its acidity makes it cool and fresh. The aftertaste consists of hints of citrus and spices. You could enjoy it now, but also cellar it for 2 more years. The soul of San Leonardo is embodied in the Guerrieri Gonzaga family, winegrowers here as far back as the 18th century. The family motto is “Belli ac Pacis Amator” (lover of war and peace) and it may be difficult to imagine it today, but back then, the Terzi – the family’s original surname – men were warriors.
