Bout d’Zan, a nickname given to Helene Thibon’s father (member of the generation that owns the winery today) when he was a little boy to describe his short stature and dark complexion. Today, they use his nickname to describe the notes of black licorice. It has aromas and flavors of sweet and juicy black fruits, mainly black cherry, peppery spices and licorice. A red wine that you can combine with stew, roast lamb with vegetables and traditional Mediterranean flavors.
