Biblia Chora rose is made of Syrah grape variety, cultivated with great care in the coolest spot in the estate’s vineyard, exclusively for producing rose wine. After the grapes are macerated at a low temperature, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at 18°C. It has a bright cherry color with highlights of blue and a rich aroma of red fruit like strawberry, cherry and blueberry with notes of butterscotch. It is a rich, balanced and full-bodied, a rose dry wine with excellent structure. The refreshing acidity and fruity character give it a long, aromatic finish. It is recommended to consume at 10°C in its first two years. You could pair Biblia Chora rose with shellfish, lobster, shrimp, seafood pasta, but also with sautéed mushrooms, vegetable-based dishes and various deli meats.

Ktima Biblia Chora is located in the village of Kokkinochori, Kavala, in Northern Greece. It was established by the oenologists, Vassilis Tsaktsarlis and Vangelis Gerovassiliou, who in 1998, planted the first organic vineyard of the estate in the foothills of the Mount Pangeon. Today, the 570-hectare privately owned vineyard, surrounds the modern winery where all the wines of the estate produced. They aim to craft wines of exceptional varietal expression and quality that showcase the best that the Pangeon ecosystem has to offer. All wines are bottled at the winery and some of them are left to age in the bottle in special aging rooms located in the basement of the winery.
