Description
The Red of the Gerovassiliou Estate has a deep purple color. Its aromatic palate consists of ripe black fruits such as plum and cherry, spicy notes and the distinctive scent of barrel. In the mouth we find soft tannins and abundant fruit in balance with the aromas of the barrel. The aftertaste is pleasant with a sense of spices. A red dry wine from the grape varieties Syrah, Merlot and Limnio, which you can age for 10 years. Excellent combination with pork, red meat, poultry, game and even cheese.

Located in Epanomi in Thessaloniki, Gerovassiliou Estate cultivates the privately owned vineyard of 72 hectares with special care and love. Their goal is to produce quality wines. They make excellent use of the soil and climate of the area. Epanomi is an area surrounded by sea with a Mediterranean climate and a land rich in marine fossils. The first winemaking took place in 1986 at the modern winery located in the vineyard. It becomes a classic red vinification and remains for a year in oak French barrels.
