The Weingut F.X. Pichler is located in Wachau, Austria. In 1976, the estate passed to Franz Xaver (F.X.) Pichler. The modern cellars were built in 2009 and designed to reflect the historic steep stone terraces of the region, dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries. In the Wachau, mechanization is almost impossible and manual labor is a one-way street, due to the steep slope of the vineyards. As for the wines produced at the Weingut F.X. Pichler winery, capturing the terroir of this exceptional wine-growing region is at the forefront.
